Goods not acceptable
It

CDG 2007: The carriage of dangerous goods and Use of Transportable Pressure
Equipment regulations 2007
ADR: Accord européen relatif
au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route (European Carriage of Dangerous
Goods by Road)
Acceptable goods: Packaging
All
goods must be packaged so as to be able to travel through the system
without being damaged and without causing damage to other consignments.
Boxes should be taped shut in a way to contain and support the weight
of the goods inside.
There should be no sharp edges or corners, which may damage other consignments
or anyone handling them.
Fragile goods should be packed in bubble wrap, polystyrene bubbles or
similar, to protect them from any squashing, crushing or impact. The
goods should then be labelled with FRAGILE tape or stickers.
Glass is not ideal and travels at your own risk. It should be packed
so that each glass item is individually wrapped and the box which they
are in contains enough additional labelling so that anybody handling
the goods can identify what the goods are and take appropriate precautions
to ensure the safe transit of the goods.
